Hello Friends, I would like to welcome everyone to my site. My site, COUNTRY LIVING is about ANIMALS, COUNTRY LIVING AND MORE.
I started my own site because I like to take pictures and I thought it would be fun to start my own blog. I’ve even gone as far as to write a short story about 2 of my cats. I’ve been thinking about writing another one. Maybe now I’ll blog instead. I will probably post about crafts, family, holidays and vacations too. Also, I will post about living in the country and post other posts. That story about my cats is called Tigger And Daisy Mae. I find writing a post or blogging relaxing. It seems that when I start writing, I just can’t stop. With my cat story, it easily could have been a lot longer. I just hope everyone feels free to share my posts and blogs. The above picture is of a squirrel looking into the MOULTRIECAM. This picture was taken right behind our house on a small campsite. Below are some pictures that also come from the MOULTRIECAM and I hope you enjoy all pictures.

I did some blogging and reblogging on my new site, CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. I also just published another picture blog called SUNRISES AND SUNSETS: IN PHOTOS. I think in my opinion these blogs are pretty good.
On your dashboard under Links then hitting All Links, you’ll find both of my sites and their Links. If you don’t want to bother with that, here is the link for CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE.
Thanks to Everyone who has visited the site. I hope you follow it too.
I read somewhere that a cat can’t see as well as a human during the day but they can see effectively in light as low as one sixth the level of effective human eyesight. Another thing about a cat’s vision that is supposed to be better than a human’s is their ability to detect even slight motion in their field of view. These are facts that I am not certain about (and I’m too lazy to look them up) but if they are true then Frankie has a problem with his eyesight.
I always knew Frankie was not as good at catching lizards as Chris or Puck. Sure, he did catch a rabbit last year while at the same time evading capture from two people. That was impressive, but rabbits are big and easy to see.
I noticed lately on our walks that he doesn’t seem to notice lizards as well…
My husband came home from work at 10:00 this morning –a very rare occurrence–so that we could celebrate our 21st anniversary cruising on Pisca-Dory and fishing in the Snake River.
The day was beautifully sunny and mild. Carp were jumping everywhere, but not biting anywhere. It was not quite warm enough for crappie or bass. Trout caught in ponds can be kept, but trout caught in the river cannot not be kept–they are catch-and-release until mid-June–but it didn’t matter; we never saw one. We saw only carp.
Spending the day on the river together on the boat my husband built was wonderful. I would much prefer being in our own boat by our own selves to any cruise, anywhere, ever. To us, the whole point of a boat is being connected to the water, the sense of being away from usual routines, fishing, and a primal sense that we are…
