Animals Are Feeling Beings Too
I finally took some time this morning to read over the online debate another blogger participated in and shared with me. They were discussing all animals and what the bible says about them. The discussion started on the topic of elephants in circuses.

I agree. I am sure God doesn’t want us to abuse animals. I believe they have souls just like us.

I agree. Animals have souls. People who have bear-death experiences report seeing deceased pets. I think it’s easy for some people to take the Bible literally maybe because they want to make sure they follow their faith. However, it is important to see the big picture.

Yes God gave us dominion over animals. Man will be held accountable for this dominion. Dominion does not in our opinion encompass abuse in any form against animal or human. Again, accountability.

Amen to this. God is always good. Its us humans that need the help. Sad when humans abuse their Father and you are right… we can’t blame him for anything. At least we sure can’t and don’t.

That’s okay. We have so many imperfections that its a miracle that God is so gracious to us. Every breath we take is such a gift and am so glad for his mighty works.

Killing animals for food is one thing–abusing them is another. Just because we can do something does not mean that we should.
