  1. Happy Happy Birthday, Crystal! I’ve just begun my 40s; lots of changes! I might pick your brain at some point to see what I might expect, if that’s ok! 😁❀️. Have a blast of a day today! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŽπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽˆπŸ’—

      1. Thank you bunches, girl! I really appreciate that 😊❀️. Turning 30 was a piece of cake; my tumultuous 20s fell away, leaving wisdom and solid footing on stabler ground. But turning 40, although a passive process (I just had to sit there through my birthday πŸ˜‰) has been more difficult. The mental and physical ailments have ratcheted up and my ability to compensate for them has ratcheted down. I’m not sure what to expect in my 40s, and I know that everybody’s different, but I love the idea of being able to compare notes with others who have walked before me πŸ€—πŸ’šπŸ’™

      2. That’s really reassuring to know! I just turned, and I noticed that I got very tired/exhausted – not in a physical way, but a mental/emotional one 😊. That started about 6 mos before my 40th birthday in September. I hope it gets better again πŸ˜πŸ’œ

      3. I guess the first one is, is it normal for certain health issues to ramp up, like allergy symptoms and body temperature? I’m hot all the time, especially at night, but it’s not quite the same as a hot flash (I’ve had hot flashes before; long story lol, but all I can say is holy cow! Lol) πŸ’šπŸ’™

      4. In my opinion it is normal. I say that because I never got allergies but as soon as I hit my 30’s and 40’s my allergies are just terrible. As for feeling hot expect that sometimes. It’s funny but on lukewarm nights I find myself kicking off covers. I was lucky with hot flashes. Didn’t really get those.

      5. Usually I’m cold all the time so when I get warm I’m excited. In the house My family is usually 70 degrees to 72 degrees sometimes less than that. Personally I like the outside temperature to be sunny and 80 degrees and very little humidity outside.

      6. Oh yeah, humidity is the worst! I’ve found myself to be less heat tolerant than I was in the past, and it’s doubly worse with humidity. I did used to be cold all the time, so yeah, I know that feeling, and it bites πŸ’. I can handle more heat if it’s also very dry; unfortunately, where I live is a wild card, tending toward greater humidity more often πŸ˜³πŸ’—

      7. Don’t know where you live but where I live we can have rain, sun and snow all in the same day. We never know what weather we are going to have either. Weather people don’t know what the weather is until it happens. You Know what I mean.

      8. Hehe I’m in South Texas, at the intersection of the desert and the tropical line lol πŸ˜‰. Yep, we have really tumultuous weather; it can literally be dry on one side of the road, drenched on the other lol πŸ˜πŸ’—
