BLOGGER RECOGNITION TAG

Usually when you see a tag what’s the first thing that crosses your mind? Well if you’re anything like me, 2 things cross my mind. They are:

  • Why so many links?
  • What, another tag?

I’ve done several tags and if you want to see them you can go to AWARDS. I know the reason or at least I think I do why some don’t do awards and tags and that’s because of so many links, posts and etc… I’ll be honest, I hate the links but don’t mind posting. So Daisy Mae and I(mostly me) came up with an award/tag that has very little stipulations. It’s great (or at least I think so) so I hope you like our tag. Nothing fancy but we don’t want you want you to be disappointed if we don’t give it to you right away because we’ve got so many  to give to were doing it monthly(or at least try that).   1. Where do you see your blog in five years? Since I have 2 blogs WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING)and CRYSAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE , I hope to have at least one paid site in five years.
  2.   What was your last movie you saw? The last movie I saw was when I was in college 25+ years ago and the movie wasn’t at a movie theater it was on VCR and the movie was IT by Steven King. I never read the book.
  3. If your five-year old self suddenly occupies your body, what would the first thing be that your five-year old self will do? The first thing my five-year old self would do is to teach my four-year old sisters all kinds of things.
  4. When was the last time you climbed a tree? A long time ago out at our camp.
  5. Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or always be 20 minutes early? I would want to be always 20 minutes early. 
  6. If you were given five million dollars what will you do with it? I would give some to charity, give some to the church and put the rest in the bank. Who knows, maybe I would think of other things to do with this money If I were to ever get it.
  7. What is the most interesting thing you have near you right now? I’m at a disadvantage here because I’m way out in the country, the most interesting thing near me are watching animals. We have a trail camera and we check it every 2-3 days and it’s interesting to see what’s on it. Watching the animals is my most interesting thing near me.

ANDREA’S QUESTIONS TO ME

  1. Which Disney or Looney Toons character does your own character relate to? As I thought about this question, I finally decided that I couldn’t think of just one character but my character relates to a combination of characters. I think if we are really honest with ourselves everyone is a combination of characters. 
  2.  Would you like to go back to the 90’s, a time without internet? Actually, I was in college in the 90’s and we had internet at the college. However, I would love to go back to a time without internet. So much simpler. Of course, I’m one of those people who do not own a cell phone only a computer.
  3. Do yo like to cook from scratch?(make your own sauces, own dough from bread/pasta etc.) Cook?(laughing), I don’t cook. I think I cooked twice real meals but otherwise I like making popcorn the best.
  4. What would you do on a first date? I think I would learn as much as I could about my the guy I’m thinking about dating.
  5. Whats’ your favorite way of transportation? Hands Down A Car.
  6. What your favorite emoji? I’m sure there are more emojis out there on cell phones but since I don’t have a phone just a computer, my top 3 favorite emojis are:

10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT ME

  1. I LOVE MY HAIR. My hair is naturally curly and I only have to get it cut a few times. Also, I haven’t had to color or dye my hair yet. I have NO grey hairs. I love the fact I can wash my hair and go. No mouse, styling, curling iron needed.
  2. I LOVE HOW I CARE. I love how I can care about others when they come to me with their problems.
  3. I LOVE THE FACT I’M A BULLYING SURVIVOR. You read right I survived being bullied. I was bullied through college and with the support of my family and my faith in God got me through it.
  4. I LOVE THE FACT I ACHIEVED 2 DEGREES.  I graduated from a community college with an Associate Degree in Elementary Education then transferred to a 4 year university where I achieved a Sociology Degree(BS Degree). I was told after Highschool by a counselor that I would never achieve either of these degrees.
  5. I LOVE THE FACT I’M SINGLE. I must admit that this was something I wasn’t crazy about when I was younger but as I got older and wiser and I got I actually love being single. I can do things when I want and can change my schedule if need be.
  6. I LOVE HOW I’M DIFFERENT/SPECIAL. I’m one of a kind and despite what others may think I love the fact I’m special/different from other people.
  7. I LOVE THE FACT I HAVE ROYALTY IN MY ANCESTRY. Yes, that’s right, I have royalty in my ancestry. Queen Elizabeth is in my ancestry(Not the current one). I didn’t even get an invitation to either royal wedding either. Guess it got lost in the mail. LOL 
  8. I LOVE MY BLUE EYES. I love my blue eyes because they go with every outfit and I don’t need to wear colored contacts.
  9. I LOVE MY KINDNESS. I’m one who likes to meet new people and go up to people and say hi and welcome them. I not only enjoy meeting new people but learning about others and where they come from.
  10. I LOVE LISTENING TO OTHERS. I like listening to others problems and giving them advice. Sometimes it’s easier because we’ve been through the same/similar situation.
  11.    I Love Me Because I’m  A Christian. This may seem like a crazy answer to some people but when I asked Jesus into my heart my life totally changed for the good. I’ve been blessed  many times over. Is my life easier? Not always but at least I know Jesus is there to help me.

INTRODUCTION:

OK, I was frustrated enough already when I found out I couldn’t get into my computer for my e-mail. As it turns out my provider was have an issue with the e-mail and was working toward fixing it. Apparently there had been several calls to my provider because they made a recording about it. when I finally was able to get into my computer  I got a nice surprise. My surprise was that I found I had been nominated for The Sunshine Blogger Award by Perditas Pursuits from Tinsel And Treasure . I’m so grateful for this nomination.   1. What is your daily work and how did you get into it? I’m unemployed at the present time. However, I worked for 18 years as a Retail Associate until the store closed for good.
  2. How would you describe your writing style? I’m passionate about my writing.

  4.  Are you extravagant or thrifty? I’m both. I have expensive taste but when I buy things I look for the best deals.
  5. What’s your favourite time of the year and why? I have 2 favorite times of the year. First is December and why? Because it’s my birthday time and the time our Savior was born. Tied for first is also Easter Time and why? Our savior died and rose on the third day.   
  6. What book, character or tv show would you love a movie to be made of? “Murder She Wrote”.
  7. Describe your ideal day out? My ideal day out would be to eat out and do some shopping. I like to shop.
  8. What little social media habits really irritate you? How much time do yo have. I’m just going to a list a few.  First, I don’t like how they make you sign into see the full view of what you’re viewing, I don’t like how they cover up most of the page with their ads like they don’t want you to see what’s on the page unless you’ve got an account.
  9. What is your favourite meal to eat ‘out’? This may seem simple but my favorite meal is Hot Wings I like to order unless I’m somewhere that doesn’t have Hot Wings on the menu.
  10. Describe something you have done skillfully/ well? Writing Poetry. I started writing poetry after I met Maya Angelou in college

  1. Why Did You Start Blogging? I started blogging because out of curiosity and it looked like fun. I had so much fun that I started a second blog 3 or 4 months later.

In 10 years I want to be married or at least engaged. I want to own my own business or at least be co-owners with someone else. I want to be able to make my own schedule so I can be with my family and cat.

Oh Wow! I think I would have a lot of questions I would want to ask. Some of my questions would probably be: Did I get married? Who did I marry? What’s he like?
