Challenges & Dreams

Ever been challenged? Really challenged? I have. Whether you’ve been challenged in school, work, maybe you’ve started your own business or even better, you’ve written a book or books. No matter what your challenges are everyone has them. What do I mean? Well it’s quite simple actually. Life is one big challenge.

I don’t know about anyone else but I had challenges in school, work and now I purposely challenged myself to write a book just to see if I could. My result: I’ve written 1 book and have the second book written. After that, I’ll challenge myself to write a third book. As it happens my goal has gotten bigger to write my first book box set. I look forward to achieving this goal.

So if you have a dream and you think it’s to big to achieve or your dream will never happen. Think again because dreams only happen if you want them to. Don’t worry about how big your dream is just go for it and you’ll be surprised at what you can achieve.

Encouragement from friends and family helps and a lot of prayer. That’s right I said prayer. Do you know how many times I used prayer to write my books — a lot. Take in from me, Prayer helps big time. USE IT!!

Animal Bites

WELCOME

Hello and Welcome Everyone. Today I would like talk about a pet subject we don’t often talk about. Don’t know what I’m talking about. The subject I’m talking about is Animal Bites.

WHY I’M WRITING THIS ARTICLE

Why am I writing this article? Well… I’m writing this article so others know what to do and what not to do. I hope you can learn from these experiences. Whether it’s a Dog, Cat, Snake, Guinea Pig or some other animal you really need to be careful. One thing you need to do is be alert of your surroundings, your neighbor’s pets actions and your pet’s actions.

What do I mean? Well let me tell you my experience then I will tell you about my friend’s experiences. First my experience.

MY EXPERIENCE

2 or 3 years ago in the Spring/Summer I had decided to go for a short walk because the sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day. That gorgeous day turned into a bad day for me, 2 of of my neighbors and 5 cats.  Let me start from the beginning. As I said previously it was a gorgeous day. I had just started out on a short walk. To say the least, I didn’t get far. 2 sidewalk squares if I was lucky. Now when I go for a walk I always look around. I try to be alert of what’s around me. Now my one neighbor had at least one big dog. It looked liked a Black Lab. I had seen it before many times. I wasn’t even close to that house so I really didn’t worry. I was looking around when I saw 2 dogs going after my neighbor. I’m thankful someone was with him or he would’ve been on the ground. Once I saw both dogs out of the corner of my eye, they were up in front of me in no time. When the dog that I thought was a Pit-Bull Mix started going after me and trying to bite then eventually did bite me, I screamed bloody murder. How loud is that? Well both my parents were inside the house and I screamed so loud they heard me. When Dad came out and saw what was going on, he came and rescued me then once he was back up on the Front Porch he took a thick piece of wood to keep the dogs away from him. Please understand, he didn’t hit these dogs with the thick piece of wood. However, we eventually found out from my neighbor two doors down that he got bit on the ankle by the one dog. I think it was a Pit-Bull mix. Anyhow his one kid rescued him. How? I’m not exactly sure. I do know his wife took a picture of the injured ankle.

I do know called the dog person. That was useless. So Dad Called the Police. That was useless too. The policeman we got was in “vacation mode”. He was getting ready to go on vacation. Of Course he didn’t get back to us. The woman he did get to talk to well she refused to tell him what to do. Which was probably good.

This happened on Labor Day or there about on Labor Day. Do you know what’s it like to see your Dad go outside to meet everyone and tell them they have to stay on the Front Porch or stay inside. My niece and her boyfriend at the time had enough respect to stay for awhile but not as long they would’ve. They left early.

What Happened

We tried to do something but got told since we had no pictures they could do nothing. Did they come for the dogs? OH they came. In fact, the policeman that came had the nerve to get the dogs in the back of the police car then turn around and tell us the dogs weren’t mean with him. Well of course not if you have treats. I wonder what would’ve happened if he didn’t have those treats. Later on we found out the person’s name(which I will not name) and that she was a veteran. She worked 3 jobs. One of those jobs was at a bar. Sadly, we also found out these dogs killed 5 cats.(4 kittens and mamma cat). Then we found out a few weeks later that these dogs got out again and almost killed a dog. The dog was severely injured.

What Have We Learned?

1.) Don’t make eye contact(peripheral or otherwise).

2.) You must take pictures of bite on you or have your doctor or nurse take the pictures.

3.) If you or your neighbors have kids to do something you must have proof(also in pictures).

4.) Police and dog person are more interested in cases that involve minors rather than adults.(At least that was the case with me).

5.) We found out to rescue someone you can use a gun(not recommended and always use as last resort).

WELCOME

HELLO AND WELCOME TO WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) AND CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. Glad you are here and reading.

WHY WE ARE HERE

We are here because of the 9TH ANNUAL PET BLOGGER CHALLENGE. Why look back on the previous year(2018)? I think that if we do that we can not only usher 2018 out properly but look on what good we accomplished for the animals. I ask you to join us for the PET BLOGGER CHALLENGE. To learn more you can go to GO PET FRIENDLY . The PET BLOGGER CHALLENGE goes through January 20-26. If you would like to read, compare or both my post for the PET BLOGGER CHALLENGE can be found by clicking HERE. Do check last year’s post out. Now onto answer some questions so you can learn a little bit about me and my blogs but first a BRIEF LOOK BACK ON 2018.

LOOKING BACK ON 2018

As I look back on the year 2018, I find that like any blogger I had ups and downs on my blogs. I was on CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE more than WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) since I had some personal issues I had to take care but hope to be on it more in 2019. Now let’s get to those questions.

QUESTIONS FOR THE PET BLOGGER CHALLENGE

1.) For those who may be visiting your blog for the first time, how long have you been blogging and what’s your main topic? I have been blogging for 2 years with WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING)(January 2017) and almost 2 years for CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE(April 2017). My main topic is Animals but I also like to talk about Country Living, Family, Poetry and so much more.

2.) What was your proudest blogging moment of 2018? Reaching my 2 year blogiversary on WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING)(January 2017 – 2019) and my 2nd year blogiversary on CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S SITE(APRIL 2017 – 2019). OK, it runs into 2019 but not very much.

3.) What was the biggest blogging challenge you faced in 2018, how did/will you tackle it? My biggest blogging challenge was dealing with some personal issues and I didn’t blog as much. However, I tried to post at least once a week on at least one of my blogs.

4.) Which of your 2018 blog posts was your favorite and why? I had trouble picking which posts were my favorite so I just chose one. As it happens it comes from CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. The post is called Friendly Fill – Ins. The link is FRIENDLY FILL – INS . Why? It’s fun and I got good results. specifically, I got 21 comments and 14 likes.

5.) Which of your 2018 posts was most popular with your audience? Why do you think it does so well? Since I took my favorite post from my other site I took the post from my other site. One of my posts that did so well was DAISY MAE’S CAT QUOTES. Why did it do so well? I think it’s because my readers like animals and cats and could relate to the quotes when they read them.

6.) Did you implemented a new series, feature, or practice on your blog in 2018 that you’re enjoying? YES. I do more blog hop posts which are fun, I go to blogs that have blog parties or meet & greets,  I’m checking and double checking All comments and I enabled comment moderation on WordPress.

7.) As the social media landscape changes, how are you promoting your blog posts and connecting with new readers? I’m currently on Google+ and LinkedIn. I’m. I also have all the WordPress sharing buttons so Others and myself can share. I’m attending more blog hops which gets me in touch with other readers. I also try to attend blog parties too.

8.) Looking forward to 2019, if you accomplish only one thing through your blog, what do you hope it is? Learning how to code. I tried in 2017 and 2018 with no luck.

9.) What steps are you planning to take to ensure you reach your goal? Keep Trying.

10.) Now it’s your turn! How can we help? Is there an area where you could use some advice,or an aspect of your blog you’d like input on? Coding, How to get guest authors to write posts after they accepted(not the ones who accepted but then contacted you with a reason they couldn’t do it). All SEO.

A Special Awww…Monday & Sparks

Featured Image -- 9016

Since on Saturday, October 27, 2018 a horrible tragedy happened in the Jewish community in Pittsburgh, PA where a guy who wanted to kill as many Jews as he could only killed 11. That’s 11 to many in my book. I’m sure you have heard about this tragedy by now even if you don’t have a tv, computer or smart phone.

For those of you not familiar where Pittsburgh, PA is let me see if I can help. It’s a city full of people who are sports oriented and willing to help each other in times of trouble and tragedy. I don’t like to go to this mostly because it’s hard to navigate due to construction going on all the time it seems. Pittsburgh is probably 2 to 3 hours away from where I live or about 50 to 60 miles away from where I live.

When I heard about it on Saturday, I was just sick. My heart goes out to the families and friends who lost loved ones in that tragedy. I noticed there were brothers. Not too much older than myself and maybe some of you too. they were 56 and 57 years old and oldest person was 97. What were they doing wrong? Absolutely nothing. All they were doing is having a church service and/or mass.

May God be with the families and friends of the ones that were killed.

The best Spark I have for you today is to stay positive when tragedy or trouble strikes. Remember, some good will come out of the situation. A King James Version Bible verse I just love and you should remember too is:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  —-Isaiah 40:31 KJV—-

Ancestors

WHAT A PRETTY PICTURE IN THE FALL (2017).

Ever wonder about who is in your ancestry? Ever wonder what kind of pets your ancestors as children? I have wondered about both these questions. Why? That I’m really not sure but it might be the stories I’ve heard growing up in my family. As for the pets well I don’t know anything about that except I hope they were animal people like our family was.

As it happened, my one niece when she was in highschool had to research her family tree and now her brother who just turned 16 had to research his family tree not to mention someone else researched our family tree/ancestors for both sides of the family the Miller’s and the Stewart’s.

The results proved to be quite interesting. Please understand we were only given the Stewart ancestry. As I said the results were interesting. You see I found out that the one Queen Elizabeth was in my Ancestry(not the one that’s reigning now). It goes as far back to Alfred The Great. Pretty Cool Huh? I didn’t even get a wedding invitation to Kate & William’s Wedding, Meghan & Harry’s Wedding. What’s the deal not sending invitations to your ancestors? What gives?🤷🤷🤷🤷

Well if you have any interesting ancestors in your family please let me know.

#REMEMBER ME THURSDAY

DAISY MAE SHOWING OFF HER GREY AND WHITE BELLY. DAISY MAE AT 11 1/2 YEARS OLD.

#REMEMBER ME THURSDAY

#REMEMBER ME THURSDAY is remembering those pets we love and how we enjoyed them. Sound sad well maybe a little or you can do what I’m going to do and tell your unique store how you adopted or rescued your pet.

My story is very unique because you don’t hear what I’m about to write about happening to often. My story is about how my family and rescued my current pet, a cat named Daisy Mae. Please enjoy this true story.

HOW DAISY MAE WAS RESCUED

How Did We Rescue Daisy Mae? Well when they say a cat chooses you and you don’t choose a cat they’re right. It all started one night when my parents brought me home from work. Where I work was 25+ miles away. They were telling me on the way home they thought they could hear a kitten meowing but couldn’t see it. They didn’t have time to look at that time but when I opened the car door my mother said to me, I wonder if we can still hear that kitten we thought we heard? As I walked out of the garage I could heard a loud meowing. So since we had the time we looked and looked around the area where we heard the meowing and after a while we found this black and white kitten that was no bigger than my Dad’s hand.

We all knew what had to be done but there was slight problem. We already had a cat and we knew she wouldn’t be happy with a kitten invading her space. So we fed this kitten and put her in a cage since dad said he wouldn’t let another animal in the house until “Pigs Fly”. Mom and I were convinced but the kitten had to convince Dad. So we fed her, gave her water and kept her warm.

Then around September 12, we were having my nephew’s 4th birthday party at our house and of course the kids wanted to see the kitten. We wanted to name the kitten so we let the kids choose a name for the kitten. Since you never know what kids will come up with we just waited to see what name they came up with and surprisingly there were no crazy name suggestions. They all agreed on Daisy Mae.

Since we had an old garage at the time, it was common to see snakes and/or Snakeskin in the garage. But when my sisters and dad told the rest of us they saw a big snake in the rafters we laughed at them and said yeah right. Guess What? 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷Pigs flew that night sometime because my Dad said that’s it I’m saving Daisy Mae and she’s coming in the house.🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷 We tried to keep Daisy Mae in a very large cage and we put the cage by the register and covered it with a blanket to keep her warm at night. What happened next is actually funny. The cage was large enough but the openings on the side of the cage were large enough that she could get through. We found that out when she came upstairs. That’s when we started putting a blanket over top of the cage so she wouldn’t get out at night.

TIGGER ON TOP OF THE CURIO CABINET. TIGGER PASSED AWAY ON 9-11-2015.

We were very fortunate to get to see Daisy Mae’s mother a couple of times. We saw her when Daisy Mae’s mother came to make sure her little kitten had found a good home. Daisy Mae’s Mother was black and white just like Daisy Mae. She was beautiful.

When Daisy Mae got older but still a kitten and bigger, we knew we didn’t want to introduce our senior Tabby cat, Tigger and Daisy Mae who I’ve found out is probably a Tuxedo cat. We knew we had to do something so we discussed several options and the best option was Dad’s idea. He suggested we put up a screen door and lock the Dining room door to separate both cats for a while. This idea worked then after quite some time we finally introduced both cats to each other and the result was just a little hissing from the senior cat and no hissing from Daisy Mae.

Tigger our senior cat who didn’t play and exercise much started playing and exercising again when Daisy Mae started playing with Dad. Tigger’s personality changed too. She mellowed a lot.

Tigger was in her last days and that was becoming more and more obvious by the day and the best we could do is keep Tigger comfortable. Sadly her time came the morning of September 11, 2015 when she went to the Rainbow Bridge. Tigger was a rescued cat too. Tigger was rescued in the sense we got her out of a bad situation.

I’m happy both cats got furever homes with us. Better yet we still have Daisy Mae 12 years and 15 days.

I JUST LOVE DAISY MAE!!!!😻😻😻😻😻

My Testimony

Hi everyone, I want to talk to you about your testimony. Now you are probably thinking, I’m a “small time fish” in this world so I don’t have a testimony or anything to teach anyone. Well guess what? If that is what you are thinking then I’m here to tell you everyone has a testimony and there is always something you’ll be able to teach someone whether you know it or not. I want to share with you my testimony and some of the things I was able teach people. Please read below.

My testimony starts when I was a young child. Childhood is to be fun and a time to meet new friends. It doesn’t always go the way you want it. Instead, my childhood was full of classmates, neighborhood boys and girls bullying me. I was bullied through college. However, I never thought I thought I would be bullied and falsely accused at my place of work but guess what? I was wrong. While in college, I got to meet Maya Angelou and that was a wow moment.

What you need to understand is before I was hired I let the person know I had a disorder that would make me slower than other people and they said that wouldn’t be a problem. After being hired I told my boss I only had 1 kidney so I may be making a lot of bathroom trips. I asked if that was a problem and she said no.

Now there were a few times I fell backward and almost hit the base of the glass table. I know some people would think I’m crazy but it was as if an angel or group of angels moved my head and just guided it to the marble floor. If you’re thinking didn’t that marble floor hurt? Yes it did but probably not as bad as if my head would have hit that metal base on the glass table. Makes me glad I always take angels with me daily.

After college, I received an unexpected letter from a college classmate named “Dylan” (not his real name). What was so special about this letter? Many things actually. You see he told me I was the reason he asked Christ into his life, He told me I taught him a lot and he asked me if I remember wanting to go on a retreat but couldn’t go because things were financially tight. I remembered that. He continued to say you remember you went on a scholarship. I remembered. He told me in the letter he paid for it when he found out I really wanted to go. I never got to thank him. This was all in the letter.

So in a nutshell, ever since I asked Christ to take over my life, my life has been different.

If you haven’t asked Christ to take over your life yet, I ask you to do so because it’s the best thing you’ll ever do. If you don’t know how and/or just want to talk privately you can use the contact form provided below instead of using the comment section.

What’s Wrong With My Cat?

As you see in the pictures above her muzzle, ears and between her eyes are rubbed raw. She bites a lot, itches, a lot, digs her ears a lot, she rubs a lot and licks a lot. We had her to the vet and the vet couldn’t do much for us. The vet did give her antibiotic shot and a steroid shot which helped for 1 month and that is it.  My family and I suspect that Daisy Mae has skin allergies.  What is anybody else’s thoughts. I’m at a loss that is for sure. Sometimes it gets so bad we put Neosporin cream on to help her and she hates that.

Well I hope I get some good suggestions.

“A HOME FOR FRITZ”

**I was given a PDF of this book

by the author June Foster for my

honest review.*

BOOK REVIEW FOR “A HOME FOR FRITZ”

Author: June Foster

Title: “A Home For Fritz”

Rating: 5 stars out of 5 stars

This book is an excellent read. The book starts out about a young girl, the boss’s daughter and the boss’s daughter. The boss sends his daughter and the employee(young girl) to a ranch for a few days. The employee falls in  love with a wrangler that works at the ranch. The boss’s daughter sees this and tries to get the wrangler interested in her. She fails miserably.

The employee had gone exploring finds a dog caught in a coyote trap. A wrangler named Garrett helps her get the dog out of the trap and they got the dog to the vet.

I won’t say to much more because I don’t want to giveaway the book. However, what I will tell you that this is a fantastic book. I loved it. Starts with an OH NO event and with the twists and turns of this book it made for very good reading. I recommend this book.

About The Author: June Foster is a retired teacher turned author and lives with her husband in Alabama. She began writing in January 2010 while sailing down the freeway in their RV. To date she has 4 books with Desert Breeze Publishing and one with WhiteFire Publishing. Her novella Red and the Wolf is based on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood came out  in March 2014. COMPUTER SCAMS

MY EXPERIENCES WITH COMPUTER SCAMS AND ADVICE NOT TO FALL FOR THEM

Today, computer scams of all kinds seem to be popular. Even computer savvy people aren’t immune. It seems like bi-monthly you’re hearing about a scam. If you’re new to computers you may fall for the scams. I grew up without a cell phone or computer and to find that post you can go to Growing Up Without A Computer Or Cell Phone.

SOME of the computer scams I’m familiar with is the “LOGMEIN” Scam, the “Microsoft” scam, the “Anti-Virus” scam, the “Pop-Up/Survey scam, the “Inbox/Trash link scam and many more.

I know my title says my experience and my advice to you so let’s talk about my experiences and my advice of what you should do.

First off, when I first got my first computer I was computer illiterate with the exception of knowing how to run e-mail and turn my computer on/off. I learned by trial and error as I went along.

Experience #1: “LOGMEIN” Scam – I had these people call about my computer they said they needed remote access(that should’ve been a flag right there to me) but since I was just learning so I wasn’t aware of this. My advice is never give remote access and if you do for some reason, change your password right away so they can’t get access to your computer.

Experience #2: “Anti-Virus” Scam – This can take many forms. Some of the forms you may see is through e-mail, pop-ups or by phone just to name a few. On your computer along the sides or in the center there are advertisements with prices that seem to good to be true. Usually if the price and what they seems to good to be true it usually it is. Also, these scams come by phone sometimes too. This goes with my experience above. My warranty expired and they wanted me to buy it again. I learned from my experience and when I refused to buy their anti-virus program they weren’t happy. Soon after that I took my computer to be checked and they found so many viruses and malware on my computer I was in disbelief. I couldn’t imagine how they got there then it hit me, they were probably planted there. I’ve suspected but can’t prove they did it but they were very angry when I refused to buy their warranty. Soon after that, my computer crashed. My advice is simple never go for the prices on pop-ups there most likely scams. Always do research first.

Experience #3: “Pop-Up/Survey” Scams – Never answer these because most of the time they’re scams.

Experience #4: “Your Microsoft On Your Computer Has Expired” Scam – Someone calls you on the phone and proceeds to tell you Your Microsoft  on your computer has expired. Since I’m on my third computer I’ve learned what’s a scam and what’s not.  It was something to hear but when my mother asked me are you sure? I said yes because Microsoft came with all my computers. I called the place where I got my computer and they said it’s a scam.

Because I was new to computers I fell for the top 3.

What To Do If You Fall For A Scam:

  1. Change All Your Passwords Right Away.
  2. Run a Full computer Scan to make sure no malware or viruses have been planted in your computer.
  3. If the place where you got your computer offers free checkups then take them up on it. You still might want to take your computer for a checkup no matter what. Most of the places make you pay a price. Trust me, it’s worth every penny.

I hope none of you ever fall for a scam but if you do, the above steps can help you. **Please Note** I only mentioned a few things you can do through my experiences.

Please share your experiences if you have any and some tips to follow that I haven’t mentioned.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

I

Growing Up Without A Computer Or Cell Phone

INTRODUCTION AND WELCOME

Welcome Everyone to my blogWELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING). I want to tell you about my experience growing up without a computer and/or a cell phone.

When I grew up believe it or not computers and cell phones weren’t a big thing. In fact, when I was growing up I remember playing with my two younger sisters who just happen to be fraternal twins with personalities that are like day and night and we played with the other children that lived on the street. I even remember walking up town to the little grocery store where you could even get penny candy for an afternoon. I lived in a time when you didn’t need to lock your doors. That changed when a rapist moved in across the street from us( that could be another post entirely.

WHAT IT WAS LIKE GROWING UP WITHOUT A COMPUTER OR A CELL PHONE

I have to be honest with you entirely, it wasn’t bad growing up without computers or cellphones in my opinion mostly because I had other children to play with from our street or I played with my sisters. I even remember going to slumber parties. Eventually my parents got one of those old-fashioned bag car phone by Trac Phone. I really never missed having one until I got older. That’s when I started asking my parents for a computer.

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I STOPPED ASKING FOR A COMPUTER

As I mentioned previously, when I became older meaning in my 20’s  I started really wanting a computer. Every time I asked my mom would ask me what do you want a computer for? Each time I would tell her the same thing which was for e-mailing my friends. After years of not getting a computer or cell phone I stopped asking for the computer. I really never asked for a cell phone because I thought why have a cell phone when you already have a computer. You see, I thought I was thinking logically or so I thought. When I stopped asking for my computer I think my parents were relieved LOL and waited several years to see if I would start asking again. I didn’t.  My parents eventually rewarded me for waiting several years.

WHEN I GOT MY COMPUTER AND MY REWARD

I never got my first computer until I was 40+ years old. OK I know some of you think you waited how long(gasp!!) I know to some of you that might seem like an eternity but was well worth it. Let me explain. You see  just because I waited several years for my computer doesn’t mean I stopped wanting one. I just thought after asking for so long and not getting my computer I was never going to get one. Boy was I ever wrong. One Christmas, I opened all my small gifts first which is what I normally do unless I decide to change things up. I kept going over and over in my mind what my big gifts could be. It never crossed my mind it would be a computer and a computer case. I was so excited that I was jumping up out my chair and screaming thank you, thank you, thank you to my Mom and Dad and my youngest sister got me a computer case. If I would have opened the computer case first I would have known what the second gift was and probably wouldn’t have been excited either. I was thrilled to get a computer.

HOW LONG MY FIRST COMPUTER LASTED

My first computer which was an Acer computer and it was bought at Best Buy lasted me 3-4 years then it literally crashed. I couldn’t believe it. So I looked around for a second computer. Eventually found one sale at Staples.

HOW LONG MY SECOND COMPUTER LASTED

My second was an upgrade from my last computer. My second computer was bought at Staples too and was a Dell. It also was a Windows 8 and my first computer was a Windows 7. I eventually upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10( I got the free upgrade). My second computer eventually went after 3-4 years. Found out later that the motherboard on my computer went. The technological guy said when the motherboard goes that’s when you should buy a new computer because it costs more to fix than to buy a computer. And to think I just took it in because the cord wouldn’t hold a charge. Who would’ve thought something so simple would turn into something so difficult. I sure didn’t. Since I already had my computer they tried to pull off as much stuff as they were able to off my computer and put it on a flash drive. I got another computer that day with another upgrade.

HOW LONG MY THIRD COMPUTER LASTED

My third computer and hopefully my last is still working and running. I’ve had my computer for two years now and learning something new each day. When I bought my new computer which is a Lenovo ideapad 320S, it had Windows 10 pre-installed and other new things which I have yet to learn. I love my Lenovo computer.

ARE THOSE ADD ONS REALLY NECESSARY?

If you ever bought a computer and I think most of you have, then you know once you’ve chosen your computer they start asking you do you want to buy the extra add ons? A lot of people don’t buy them because they think I don’t really need this and believe me I’m guilty of thinking this too. When I bought my first add-on I never thought I was never going to use it. Guess what? I used it. It would’ve cost me an arm and a leg if I wouldn’t have had it. My computer was my Birthday/Christmas gift from my parents and they bought the extra add ons and McAfee Live Safe anti-virus to install on my computer. Hope I don’t need it but at least I have it in case something should happen.

CONCLUSION

In my opinion, before turning down the technological associate for add-ons that might save you money in the long run, think of how much it will cost you to fix that cord and/or computer and compare the costs. Trust me $100 for the cost of an add-on you may never use but what if something unexpected happens and you do need it. $100 will be like a drop in the bucket compared to what that cord or computer will cost you and trust me it will be more than $100. So my suggestion, GET THE ADD ONS THERE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!
