Happy  New Everyone. I’m excited because Daisy Mae and I have started the new year off right by being nominated for two awards. MABEAUTILITY’S QUESTIONS TO THE NOMINEES(MY ANSWERS WILL BE IN ITALICS):

1. What is your favorite pet? Cats.
2. What is your favorite snack? Popcorn slathered in butter.
3. Which place in your house do you like the most? I like my bedroom the most. The reason I like my bedroom so is because it’s warm and cozy.
4. What is your biggest hobby besides blogging. I don’t have another hobby other than blogging anymore. I used to do cross-stitching.
5. If you were able to posses magic, what kind of  magic would it be? Interesting question. The kind of magic that I could have a full-time job by owning my own business. Also,the kind of magic that I could change our world’s mind to do the right thing.
6. What is your biggest wish? My biggest wish is that everyone in my family stays healthy and our world gets some common sense.
7. Would you like your blog to be your job and Why? I haven’t been blogging a year yet so as of this time I’m not really sure.
8. What did you like most about 2017?  I have so many things I liked about 2017 it’s hard to pick just 1 particular one.
9. What would your perfect holiday be like? All of my family would be together, no grudges would be held, Nobody would be sick and we’d enjoy each other’s company and we’d overlook each other’s faults.
10. What is the meaning of education? To me education is more than getting a degree or degrees at a college or colleges. Education to me can also be what you learn in life from the time you’re born to the time you die. You see there are many ways you can be educated so take advantage of all of them because you never know when you’ll need them.
11. How did you create the name of your blog? When I created the name of my blog, I wanted it to be unique and original. I live way out in the country so I started with COUNTRY LIVING but then I got to thinking why not make it a little more personal and do a name that would welcome everyone to my site. So I came up with WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING). I kept COUNTRY LIVING so that my followers  that came when I had that name would stay.

THE LIEBSTER AWARD

I would like to give a brief overview of the  Liebster Award for those who don’t know why we give this award.

WHY IS THE LIEBSTER AWARD GIVEN?

It is said that the Liebster Award was created to recognize and/or discover new bloggers; and welcome them to the blogosphere. “Liebster” is a German word meaning beloved or dearest. This award exists only on the internet as pixels, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers.

ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS FROM LEBANA’S JOURNAL:

1. Where Do You Live? I live in a little rural town in Pennsylvania that you’re through in a blink of an eye. I live way out in the country.
2. What’s the best thing about the area where you live. The different animals that I get to see.
3. Where is your favorite place in the world? I really don’t know. I have always wanted to go to Ireland though.
4. What’s your funniest travel story? Once again don’t have one. Although I did come home with my sisters from school one day and Mom said we were going to Niagara Falls.
5. What would you say is your biggest accomplishment? I have been fortunate because I have more than 1 big accomplishment.  I was picked on/bullied all the way through college so surviving that plus getting 2 degrees would be my accomplishments. I wrote about my experience and it can be found  HERE .
6. What makes you happiest? Being with God, my family and my pet cat.
7. How many countries have you visited so far? Don’t know. Not many because I try to stay in the USA.
8. Who is your role model? My parents.
9. What can’t you live without? God, my Bible.
10. How many posts have you made so far? I have 331 posts with my reblogs.

1. Why are you a blogger? I’m a blogger because of curiosity.
2. How much have you loved and is still willing to?  I like to think I have loved a lot but and I still have love to give.
3. What do you think about world peace? Is it possible? How? World peace would be a wonderful thing. No I don’t think it’s possible on earth but I do think it’s possible in Heaven.
4. Has anyone ever hurt you such that you can’t forgive him/her? What was the occasion? Yes. There was one person in my college years I couldn’t forgive for the longest time but I eventually did. That doesn’t mean I have forgotten though. As for the occasion, well I hope everyone understands but I’m just not ready to talk about it yet.
5. Can you love unconditionally? I am really not sure.

My First LIEBSTER Award

Answers To Questions From Tanu Goyal:

1. How you see your Life and Why?

This is a tough question to answer but I’ll do my best to answer it. My life isn’t perfect but I see it getting better daily. I’ve got 18 years working in fashion so maybe I’ll work in fashion.  I take one day at a time since I don’t know what’s coming. But because I believe in God, my life could be horrible but I would try to find some good in my life. I think I see life this way because I saw challenges early in my life.

2. What motivates me to wake up in the morning?

I’m motivated to wake up in the morning by just getting a glimpse of sunshine and a glimpse of blue sky. These are 2 of the many things that make me smile.

3. Have you turned your weakness into your strength ever?

Yes, I believe I have. I say that because I’ve been dealing with several weaknesses since birth and they have made me stronger.

4. What Do You Admire?

I admire my parents and I admired my late grandparents because they are people who are respectful and are good teachers.

5. What you think Life is?

To me life is where you grow up go to high school, go to college, go to work, get married if your fortunate, but never stop learning.

6. What am I doing and does it make me happy?

I’m unemployed now but previously, I worked in fashion for 18 years until the store closed. I’m happy now but I sometimes I wish I had a job. I help Mom and Dad around the house some.

7. What Lesson would you like to teach me, tell me something from your profession that you have learned?

The lesson I learned is that people who tell you something but seem unsure of what their telling you, beware because they might say one thing but will do the exact opposite. When I was in Fashion/Retail,  I learned many things but one thing I learned quick was Good Marketing=More Sales. I usually found marketing clothes fun because you got to look at the merchandise while you fixed the clothes to be sold.

8. What would you like to tell me about yourself, in order to be friends?

I was bullied/picked on all through school so this subject is personal to me. I achieved 2 college degrees. They are: Associates in Elementary Education and a BS in Sociology. I’ve also met Maya Angelou. I like meeting new people.

9. Give me three pieces of advice to increase traffic on my blog?

• Follow other people’s blogs
• Comment on other people’s blogs
• Connect to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media outlets.

10. Anything you want to share with your fellow bloggers about your life?

I’ve been bullied and survived. I also was told that I would never make it through a 2 and 4 year colleges. Guess What? I graduated from a 2 year college and a 4 year college.

11. How you react when something unexpected happens to you?

It depends. Sometimes I get flustered, Sometimes I get mad or upset but it depends on the situation. I try to stay calm but it isn’t always possible.
