Merry Blogmas Everyone: Day 20 – The Day After My 50TH Birthday!!

Today is the day after my 50TH Birthday. The funny thing is that I don’t feel older even though I am. Being 50 years young is actually fun.

Any cards sent through the mail will be slow getting to me. Everyone knows how slow the mail is. For example, I live in a rural town with a small post office and if we send any bills to the next town or two you know what the silly post office does? Instead of send of sending it right to the town we want it to go it goes to a city Over 30 miles away and then it takes almost a month to its destination. I’m not kidding either.

Now that I am 50 I’m enjoying it while I can because it’s a milestone that depresses some people but not me.

What did I get for my birthday? My parents bought me a necklace that says something like True friends leave paw prints on your heart and they got me a computer(Christmas/Birthday gift). Other Birthday gifts haven’t arrived yet so probably won’t see them until Christmas Eve. More Birthday Gifts. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy. If you think that phrase sounds familiar it’s because there used to be a show called “Ren and Stimpy”  that used it a lot.

Hello Everyone, today is Day 19 of Blogmas  and it is also my 50th Birthday. Yeah!! What have I been doing today? Wrapped some Christmas gifts, sent out a Christmas cards, relaxed and celebrated my birthday.

Countdown To My 50th Birthday: 1 Day To Go

Today is Day is Day 18 of Blogmas which means tomorrow at 11:30 PM Eastern Time, I will turn 50. Am I excited? you bet I am.  I’m sure some of you thought I might be depressed. I’m not, I’m excited.

I have been on a personal countdown for more than a month. Having a birthday is fun and for those of you who hate birthdays well a birthday is just a number. In fact, a friend who I used to work with always told me starting at 50 she considered it years young not old plus she took her age and subtracted 1 year each time she had a birthday. Interesting isn’t it?

Hello and welcome Everyone,

I’m the owner and administrator of WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) and CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE . It’ll be my birthday next month and I’m planning to party all month. Why not-Right? I’d like to invite you all to my month-long birthday party. It starts December 1st and goes through December 31st.

You see this year I have reached another milestone in my life. I’m a half of a century old. That’s right, I’m 50 years old. I hope you all come over to both of my blogs to celebrate my birthday. I figure so what. Why? because I look at it this way 50 is only 14 in scrabble, 50 is 18 with 32 years experience and 50 is like 8 years in cat years.

I have to tell you all that for years I’ve been telling my family and everyone that mentions that I’m middle-aged that I’m not middle-aged to I’m 50. They laugh and call me the queen of denial. It’s just I don’t feel old or middle-aged and until I do, I won’t be middle-aged. 50 is just a number to me and I embrace every year as they come. I just feel fortunate to be celebrating another year and this year I want to celebrate my birthday with my blogging friends.
