Hello Everyone, today is Day 19 of Blogmas and it is also my 50th Birthday. Yeah!! What have I been doing today? Wrapped some Christmas gifts, sent out a Christmas cards, relaxed and celebrated my birthday.
This post will be done mostly in images so I hope you enjoy it.
Today is the 16th day of Blogmas and honestly I was having writers block until I read my devotions this Morning. I thought how neat and interesting it would be if I wrote on the uniqueness of snowflakes. With winter here and some of got 5 to 7 inches of snow it’s interesting to just watch the snowflakes. So I decided to do Day 16 on Snowflakes(The Legend Of The Snowflake).
As people we are unique ourselves. None of us is alike and we all have different passions, different likes and different dislikes. Also, some of us like cats for pets, some like dogs for pets, some like like both cats and dogs and some like snakes. Yes I said snakes. Now that you know how unique we are let’s go onto snowflakes.
Snowflakes are unique too only in different ways. In fact there is not one snowflake that is alike. Even though some snowflakes are extra small, some snowflakes are small, some snowflakes are medium size and some snowflakes are big but all snowflakes are unique no matter what size they are. All snowflakes even taste different But despite that we are taught snowflakes are unique the question remains are they really? I did some research on this question and found some Links For The Uniqueness Of Snowflakes. I found it interesting and hope you do too.
I’ve added some of my own pictures as well of some images from the internet. ENJOY.
Now that your done Christmas shopping and hopefully stayed within your budget, It’s time to Elf Yourself. What do I mean by don’t forget to Elf Yourself? It means that when you’re done shopping for others and have money left over go buy yourself something to reward yourself or just because you deserve it. If you choose not to buy anything for yourself, you can always use the following ideas.
Put The Extra Money In Your Checking And/Or Savings Account.
Hide It Somewhere In Your House.
Give The Excess Money Away.
I remember when I was working I would start my Christmas shopping in January and have it completed by October. Now I start later like July and finish by the middle of December. A Big difference I know. At the end of the post I’m adding a contact form so you can let me know when you start your Christmas shopping and finish it. You can leave it in the comment section too.
Happy Christmas shopping and don’t forget to Elf yourself.
Twas the 8th day of Blogmas and what are we doing? We are making Christmas cookies at the Stewart household and having fun making the cookies we are.
The week before Christmas is always busy with making Christmas cookies and whatever else comes up. Despite the Christmas hustle and bustle, making cookies with mom has become a fun tradition I look forward to each Christmas.
My favorite Christmas Cookie is the Orange Cookie and everyone else’s too so they’re the first to get eaten. ):😪):😪

QUESTIONS ASKED BY PENandPAPER:
What is the inspiration behind your blog content? When I started WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING), I started it because I wanted to have fun and see what blogging is all about. I liked the fact of self publishing my posts, stories, pictures and more on my site and sharing them with others. I also like meeting other bloggers.
What is your favorite time of the year and why? My favorite time of the year has probably got to be December 19 to the 25th because that’s the timeline when my birthday comes and I just love Christmas because that’s when Christ was born and started his mission to die for our sins.
What is your favorite book and why? (Or movie if you don’t read) Like PENandPAPER, the Bible is my favorite book too. The Bible is a good book to read and it’s a best seller. As for worldly books, I like most mystery/suspense books mostly because they have you on the edge of your seat guessing who done it. If I didn’t read, the movies I would choose is Dirty Dancing and Grease. Why? They’re good movies.

Above are examples of choices. On the left, someone is choosing to go into the service and on the right a bear choosing to get something to eat in someone’s backyard. Both examples are risky choices.
We are given the ability to have choices to teach us responsibility. From a young age we are taught Right from wrong. When we get to our Pre-teen and teenage years, we choose for ourselves. Sometimes we make the right choice and sometimes we make the wrong choice. Sometimes we regret the bad choices we make.
So before we make a choice be sure to think it through before you choose to go that way. There is always a risk involved with whatever you choose but sometimes the risk pays off and sometimes it doesn’t.
If you don’t want to choose the wrong choice, here are some tips you can go by:
Don’t hang out with the wrong crowd.
Before making your choice think it through.
Write the Pros down.
Write the Cons down.
Weigh the Pros and Cons.
You’ll find if you do some or all of these steps, it will help you make the best choice. However, remember animals don’t have this luxury.
