Hi Everyone, did you miss me? I’ve been sick since before Christmas so that’s one of the reasons I didn’t post. I got this neat Christmas gift. It’s called a No Sew Blanket with the design Snowman with the words Let It Snow. So what exactly is a No Sew Blanket? It’s a craft kit that comes with 2 blankets and you attempt to understand the directions(my definition). It took my youngest sister’s family to literally show me what to do because the directions weren’t clear—no surprise there. Below is a picture of the finished product.
If you celebrate Veterans Day, how do you celebrate? I celebrated Veterans Day by writing a poem thanking all Veteran’s and this Morning for the first time I watched my first naturalization ceremony coming live from Fox Square on Fox News. They swore in 12 new people who were becoming US Citizens. They said it was the first time they ever did a ceremony live. It was something to see. Although it did pose some questions after hearing the oath. You see the first thing you need to understand is all the people becoming US citizens today were in the service. The question I had here is how do you serve in service and you’re not a US citizen? Also, another question I had is everyone must show they know English unless exempt. Exempt??? Why would you need to be exempt knowing the English language if you’re becoming a US citizen and the US is now your loyalty? If you know please let me know. Thank You.
THANK YOU TO OUR VETERANS. CHALK DRAWING DONE BY MY NEPHEW.THANK YOU. CHALK DRAWING DONE BY MY NEPHEW.
Hi and Welcome Everyone, I’ve been doing a lot thinking and soul searching. Then I thought you know I had a discussion with someone about Faith. We got to talking and this person said they never strayed from their faith. It didn’t click in at the time but after a while I got to thinking, if someone actually believes that and tells you they have never strayed from their faith well their is one thing you should know and that is they just strayed from their faith. Also you should know, everyone strays from their faith because there isn’t a perfect person on this earth. I wish you all the best.
Hello and welcome to WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING). I’m so glad you are here and hope you enjoy what you read.
About Death
Death is a fact of life whether it be with humans or with animals. Sadly we all will experience death at one point or the other. I have lived long enough to experience both human death and animal death. It’s amazing how humans and animals deal with death and go through the grieving process. Each person and animal takes their own time in grieving so there really is no set time that they’re done grieving. humans as well as animals will know when it’s time to move on.
Death: My Experiences – Humans
Like I said previously I lived to see human death. Between friends and family members dying it has been sad and in many cases it was a blessing that they died because they weren’t suffering anymore. But even so, I hated to see these people go.
Death: My Experiences – Animals
Animals that are pets become part of family 99.9% of the time. Those that are outside all the the time or part of may or may not be part of the family. Any pets that we had were part of our family.
TIGGER ON TOP OF THE CURIO CABINET. TIGGER PASSED AWAY ON 9-11-2015.DAISY MAE SHOWING OFF HER GREY AND WHITE BELLY. DAISY MAE AT 11 1/2 YEARS OLD.
From the time I was a baby up to now I had all kinds of pets. We had dogs, a Chameleon, cats and other kinds of animals. We loved our animals and hated when they left us. My family and I have seen our pets (family) die naturally, had to have put them to sleep because they were in such bad shape and we have seen our pets die naturally too. We have even seen a pet die tragically ( not because of our fault or their fault).
What Did We Learn?
My family learned that a pet can die no matter what their age is and that when you go to rescue or adopt a pet, make sure the organization is reputable and they know what your doing. If you find after asking many questions that you know more than they do that should be your first red flag and go to a shelter or rescue organization that is reputable. Always get pet insurance, Get your pet microchipped at your vet so if your pet gets lost or taken they can get in touch with you easier, Always do your research before getting a pet and so much more you need to do before getting a pet.
In Conclusion
Sadly death will eventually come for all pets and humans that can’t be avoided. However, you the owner can make your pet’s life better and maybe even helping them live longer if you feed them right, make sure they’re not obese, give them lots of love and play with them. Playing with them helps them stay fit and somewhat vital. Whether it’s a dog or cat and their attention span is like my Daisy Mae’s, practically nil. However she plays pole and makes the circle from our TV room to back to the TV room again.
As most of you know, I tried to write a poem for a friend but the poem never developed in fact, I ended up writing my first book which was very unexpected and surprising. If you didn’t get a chance to read my post or maybe want to just to refresh your memory you can do so by going to MY ACCIDENTAL WRITING PROJECT. I do hope you click this link.
I have made a lot of progress since I last posted about my writing project. The last time I reported I was at 26,350 words. However as of 3-15-2019, I am now at 51,420 words. I haven’t decided yet but there may be a book two or I may put that book in with this book and they’ll be together. But if I do that, that will be one thick book. If I ever decide on a Book 2, I think it will be called The Royal Sentence. I’m really excited that I’ve gotten this far. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll see my published. That would be a dream come true.
I’m already living part of my dream. For those of you who have big dreams or even small dreams, keep dreaming and working your way toward them. You never know when they’ll come true.
Hello and Welcome to WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING), I having some unsettling news I feel all bloggers should know about. I know how hard all of us bloggers work on our content then to find out somebody may be stealing it. It’s just horrible just horrible.
How did I find this information out? I follow Basil’s Blog and get updates almost daily. When I read this before their main post, I was in shock and knew I had warn other bloggers. Basil’s Blog did provide the website and the site to check it is: Petzilia.
What you can do. Ask them to take the content down but be forwarned, Basil’s Blog has tried that and were unsuccessful. Petzilia continued to steal content. Good Luck getting your content to be taken down if it was stolen.

MY EXPERIENCES WITH COMPUTER SCAMS AND ADVICE NOT TO FALL FOR THEM
Today, computer scams of all kinds seem to be popular. Even computer savvy people aren’t immune. It seems like bi-monthly you’re hearing about a scam. If you’re new to computers you may fall for the scams. I grew up without a cell phone or computer and to find that post you can go to Growing Up Without A Computer Or Cell Phone.
SOME of the computer scams I’m familiar with is the “LOGMEIN” Scam, the “Microsoft” scam, the “Anti-Virus” scam, the “Pop-Up/Survey scam, the “Inbox/Trash link scam and many more.
I know my title says my experience and my advice to you so let’s talk about my experiences and my advice of what you should do.
First off, when I first got my first computer I was computer illiterate with the exception of knowing how to run e-mail and turn my computer on/off. I learned by trial and error as I went along.
Experience #1:“LOGMEIN” Scam – I had these people call about my computer they said they needed remote access(that should’ve been a flag right there to me) but since I was just learning so I wasn’t aware of this. My advice is never give remote access and if you do for some reason, change your password right away so they can’t get access to your computer.
Experience #2:“Anti-Virus” Scam – This can take many forms. Some of the forms you may see is through e-mail, pop-ups or by phone just to name a few. On your computer along the sides or in the center there are advertisements with prices that seem to good to be true. Usually if the price and what they seems to good to be true it usually it is. Also, these scams come by phone sometimes too. This goes with my experience above. My warranty expired and they wanted me to buy it again. I learned from my experience and when I refused to buy their anti-virus program they weren’t happy. Soon after that I took my computer to be checked and they found so many viruses and malware on my computer I was in disbelief. I couldn’t imagine how they got there then it hit me, they were probably planted there. I’ve suspected but can’t prove they did it but they were very angry when I refused to buy their warranty. Soon after that, my computer crashed. My advice is simple never go for the prices on pop-ups there most likely scams. Always do research first.
Experience #3: “Pop-Up/Survey” Scams – Never answer these because most of the time they’re scams.
Experience #4: “Your Microsoft On Your Computer Has Expired” Scam – Someone calls you on the phone and proceeds to tell you Your Microsoft on your computer has expired. Since I’m on my third computer I’ve learned what’s a scam and what’s not. It was something to hear but when my mother asked me are you sure? I said yes because Microsoft came with all my computers. I called the place where I got my computer and they said it’s a scam.
Because I was new to computers I fell for the top 3.
What To Do If You Fall For A Scam:
Change All Your Passwords Right Away.
Run a Full computer Scan to make sure no malware or viruses have been planted in your computer.
If the place where you got your computer offers free checkups then take them up on it. You still might want to take your computer for a checkup no matter what. Most of the places make you pay a price. Trust me, it’s worth every penny.
I hope none of you ever fall for a scam but if you do, the above steps can help you. **Please Note** I only mentioned a few things you can do through my experiences.
Please share your experiences if you have any and some tips to follow that I haven’t mentioned.
For those of you who can’t read what’s on the Bible Cover it says:
They that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength
they shall mount up with Wings as Eagles…

Today I continued following some good blogs. Before I follow a blog I check out the title of the blog, The blog’s tagline, Some of the posts, Can I follow it from the WordPress Reader with a Follow Button and Etc… I have found some good blogs this way. Today was no different. I found a blog that had an interesting tagline. It provokes thinking and that’s good. What blog was that? The blog I found today with the interesting tagline is Whosoever Will, May Come . The tagline that posed the interesting question went like this. It was Faithful Believers. Are There Any Left? This is a good tagline. I like it.
I would like to answer that question from the tagline on that blog. I realize our world is in a world of turmoil and just about everyone seems to be following Satan’s way not God’s way. Well I have good news. There are a few Christians(AKA Faithful Believers) out there and we follow God one day at a time despite our troubles. This isn’t the only Christian blog out there are others.
I know you are not supposed to proud and haughty because it’s a sin. But the pride I have is because I can honestly say I’m a Christian and know where I’ll be going when I die. Do You?
I’m here if you want to talk because I’m a good listener. If you want to chat use the contact form for privacy.
Wahoo, Wahoo I’m really excited because WordPress just notified me that I had achieved 500 followers. I’m way ahead of my goal. Let me explain. You see my goal was to achieve 200 followers by January 1, 2019. on WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) Today is May 11, 2018 so I’m way ahead of my goal.
Thanks to all my readers and followers for helping me achieve this goal.
Hello and welcome readers, I just got done doing the Beauty Tag that the amazing and awesome Simple Serenity’s blog. I was contacted about question #15. The person who contacted me was the amazing and awesome da-AL from HAPPINESS BETWEEN TAILS and suggested a post on #15.
INTRODUCTION
The question I was asked about was How Many Times Do You Wash Your Face Daily? Here is my answer for question #15. This may sound crazy but due to my sensitive skin, I don’t wash my face daily but only a few times a week. Everyone has their own Beauty/skin routine that they go through each day or each week and I’m no different. But how do we decide how many times we was our face? In my experience, it’s through trial and error and once you figure it out, you get rid of the previous skin routine and start a new one that’s better for you and your skin.
SKIN/BEAUTY ROUTINE
When you know what type of skin you have it is easier to know what type of skin routine you need to start. When I started my skin routine in my younger years, I washed my face daily then put on my makeup. Now that I’ve gotten older, my skin/beauty routine has had a complete makeover. I don’t wash my face daily anymore in fact, I wash my face weekly and the only makeup I wear is either chapstick, lip gloss or lipstick.
REASONS FOR CHANGING YOUR SKIN/BEAUTY ROUTINE
There are many reasons for changing your skin/beauty routine. Below are some of those reasons.
Skin type gets more sensitive as you age.
You clean your skin with one of those makeup remover wipes.
Your skin is tightening too much.
You might be getting those dreaded wrinkles.
You become allergic.
MY REASONS FOR CHANGING MY SKIN/BEAUTY ROUTINE
My reasons fit in with the first two. I found out my skin was becoming more sensitive when I found out while working I was allergic to ALL makeup. Yes, I said All makeup including that makeup made for sensitive skin. I also used makeup wipes which worked for a while until my face started going red. Not Good.
MY SKIN/BEAUTY ROUTINE NOW
My skin/beauty routine is so much simpler now. In fact, I wash my face with cold water once to twice a week and I don’t use soap. Sound crazy? For me it dries out my face. The only makeup used now is chapstick and I wear lipstick or lip gloss when I go out somewhere.
CONCLUSION
Everybody’s will have a different skin/beauty routine because everyone has different skin types. Whether you use makeup remover wipes to clean your face, wash your face with soap and water, wash your face with just water or maybe you have another way you take care of your skin. I’m interested in knowing your skin type and also your before and after story of why you changed your skin/beauty routine. Please use the contact form below.
You Should Kill Yourself. You’re Weird. You’re Different. You’re Not Pretty. You’re Not Handsome. You Can’t Do That. Your Stupid. The list goes on and on. Got your attention? I hope so because with the way technology is now days bullying happens more than we think. Another thing we should consider is that boys aren’t the only ones that bully but girls bully kids too.

These phrases could be considered bullying. Which type of bullying? The phrases I have listed in the Introduction fall into the Verbal Bullying and Cyber-Bullying categories. Are these the only two types of bullying? Sadly no. In fact, there are six types of bullying that can happen. The six types of bullying are: Physical Bullying, Verbal Bullying, Relational Aggression, Cyber-Bullying, Sexual Bullying and Prejudicial Bullying. I will be taking a look at each type of bullying, Giving examples of each type of bullying and I will also give visual examples of each type of bullying too.

Types Of Bullying
Physical Bullying:
Physical Bullying is considered to be the most obvious form of bullying. Physical Bullying happens when the more popular kids are bigger, stronger and more aggressive than the unpopular kids. Examples of Physical Bullying are Kicking, Punching, Slapping, Shoving and Other physical attacks that occur. Unlike other types of bullying, Physical Bullying is the easiest type of bullying to identify.

Relational Aggression:
Relational Aggression is a sneaky type of bullying that usually goes unnoticed by parents and teachers. This type of bullying is sometimes referred to as emotional bullying. Relational Aggression is a type of social manipulation where the people who are the bullies try to hurt their peers or sabotage their social standing. Examples of Relational Aggression are: Being told they can’t be in a group, People spread rumors about them, People manipulate situations and They try to break confidences. The bully’s goal is to make themselves look good-by controlling or bullying another person.
If we take a look at both females and males, you will usually find that females use Relational Aggression more than males. A person on the receiving end of Relational Aggression Bullying is often teased, intimidated, insulted, excluded and ignored.
Bullying doesn’t just happen in schools but can happen in the workplace too. Kids as young as 2 years old can start to bully other kids. Why does bullying start so young and how does it develop? I learned that bullying is something that just doesn’t suddenly or mysteriously appear in young children. In fact, children bring with them a history of experiences with family, media and other children.

Cyber-Bullying:
Cyber-Bullying is when a person uses the internet, smart phone or other types of technology to target another person, threaten, harass or embarrass someone. Cyber-Bullies often say things they don’t have the courage to tell them face to face. Examples of Cyber-Bullying are: When a person sends nasty e-mails or text messages, Posting nasty and embarrassing pictures on social media, videos and websites.
Graphic Credit: istockphoto
Sexual Bullying:
Sexual Bullying is when a person or group of people targets someone sexually. Examples of Sexual Bullying are: Sexual Name Calling, Crude Comments, Vulgar Gestures, Uninvited Touching, Uninvited Sexual Advances and Pornographic Materials. In some cases Sexual Bullying can lead to sexual assault and possibly rape.
I know for a fact that this type of bullying actually does happen and to boys too not just girls. I know a teacher who knows a child that has had Sexual Bullying happen to him. I’m not naming the child or teacher due to privacy and security issues. But do note that this type of bullying happens more than you think. Also, this type of bullying is not just in schools but the workplace too.

Prejudicial Bullying:
Prejudicial Bullying is mostly between teens. It is based on race, religions and/or sexual orientations. It is sad to say this can take in all other types of bullying. When this type of bullying occurs it is often severe and could lead to hate crime.

6 Common Types Of Bullies
Bully Victims:
Bully Victims often rise up after being bullied. They’ll bully others weaker themselves because they have been bullied themselves. Their goal is to regain the power and sense of control in their lives. Other times the bully victim comes from a home life riddled with domestic violence or suffers abuse from an older sibling. In cases like these bullying is a learned behavior.

Popular Bullies:
Popular Bullies have big egos. Popular Bullies also have a group of supporters and/or followers. They are often confident and condescending towards others. In fact, Popular Bullies often feel a sense of entitlement that comes from their popularity, their size, their social status and their upbringing. Popular Bullies are sometimes the school’s star athlete and is often looked up to by others since they’re perceived as leaders.
Relational Bullies:
Relational Bullies are usually somewhat popular and enjoys deciding who is popular and who isn’t. Often times Relational Bullies usually only use Verbal and/or Emotional Bullying to control someone. Mean girls are considered to be Relational Bullies.
Graphic Credit: istockphoto
Serial Bullies:
A Serial Bully is systematic, controlled and calculated in their approach to bullying and they are often found in popular circles. However, adults such as parents, teachers and administrators usually have no idea what a Serial Bully is capable of because on the outside they may seem sweet and charming to authority figures but on the inside they can be very mean to others they don’t like. Examples of Serial Bullies are: They become fake friends to others and They are skilled at lying to get their way.
Graphic Credit: istockphoto
Group Bullies:
Group Bullies are either part of a clique or a group that just follows the leader just to belong. However, they usually act different when they’re alone even with the victim. Because children feel better when they’re in a group, they also feel less responsible because all their friends “are doing it”.
Graphic Credit: istockphoto
Indifferent Bullies:
Finally, I found in my research that Indifferent Bullies are unable to feel empathy. They often will appear, unfeeling, cold and have very little remorse for what they do. They get enjoyment out of seeing someone else suffer and getting disciplined. They are discouraged by punishment. Also they are usually brutal, cruel and mean and usually have psychological problems.

I have given you something to read and think about but I said in the title of my post that solutions were included. Below are some of my solutions that might help with bullying.
Solutions For Bullying:
Don’t Start Bullying Anyone.
Walk Away If A Bully Tries To Pick A Fight.
Think Before You Post And Send.
Make The Block Button Your Friend.
Someone Starts Name-Calling Don’t Argue But Walk Away.
Tell Your Teacher, Parents And In A Worse Case Scenario Tell The Police.
Never Argue With A Bully.
There are plenty of more solutions and I’m sure you may be able to think of some but these solutions that are listed especially Number 7 Never Argue With A Bully, are some important solutions that might help.
